The Better and Best of End Citizens United

Ever since a court ruling made in 2010 changed how our American elections are carried out, we as ordinary citizens have been on the receiving end of poor leadership. The 2010 decision has given billionaires in this nation the opportunity to control most if not all of our elected politicians since it is through their finances that such individuals have been able to yield power. As a result, our political system has become full of puppet politicians, who play by the rules of powerful billionaires. Thus, our frustrations have made us come up with Ends Citizens United, an organization created to bring power back to the people.

Top of our strategy list has been to support candidates who we feel have our best interest at heart to a place of leadership so that they help our nation be as it was before. Besides, we have filed several petitions to the highest ranking American courts so as to have them help reverse the 2010 ruling. Although we have experienced little progress since 2015, we are optimistic that we are heading in the right direction. In the few years of our existence, we have been able to recruit and gunner the support of ordinary citizens as well as prominent politicians and wealthy individuals who also feel that the country is in a state of turmoil.

Part of our campaign agenda has been to raise funds, through donor programs. With the money raised, we have been able to finance campaigns for some of our most preferred candidates. We as End Citizens United believe that the power to elect and appoint leaders lies entirely on us, and if we fail to take responsibility for our actions, then we will have no one to blame. Currently, we are supporting Democrats since they have shown their will and strength to working with the electorate.

In the first quarter of 2017, our End Citizens United has raised over four million dollars. We also expect to generate more than thirty-five million dollars out of our flagship projects. By 2018, we will have enough money to finance the midterm Congress elections for our Democrats candidates. When you compare the funds, we used in the 2016 general elections and those we plan on using in 2018, you see a large margin of improvement. Hence, it is evident enough that more citizens are rallying their support behind us and it is only a matter of time before we get rid of all the selfish politicians. By the end of this year, the political action committee will have increased its donor funding as well as the number of supporters. Finally, End Citizens United might force the court to reverse its 2010 decision thus reducing the power that billionaires have regarding American politics.
